on, and asking about a past date answers exactly what stood on that date. A read without one is refused:

2026-03-02, left entirely unpaid.
Going overdue
A period is overdue from the day after itsdue_on, once its tolerance is spent. On this loan tolerance_days is 0, so period 1, due 2026-04-06, is overdue from 2026-04-07, the answer carries the day as overdue_from.
Money arriving on an overdue loan needs no instruction: the waterfall walks matured periods oldest first, penalty before everything, so arrears settle before anything else does.
What it costs
Two charges, both from the regime frozen at issuance, both derived per period and both taxed under the loan’s own rule:
A configuration may bound the penalty two ways, and they stop different things:
penalty_ceiling_days stops the clock on one period, and penalty_ceiling_bps stops the amount across the whole loan. This loan states neither, so the figures below run unbounded.
The delinquency route answers both, attributed per period:
Read the delinquency
200
base is the period’s own principal component. The first period’s penalty is its 51291 at 60% per year over the 34 days from 2026-04-07 to 2026-05-10 under actual_360, the 2906 (MXN 29.06) shown, with its 16% of tax beside it. The whole payment stands owed; the penalty accrues on the principal alone.
Each period is attributed its own lateness rather than the loan carrying one figure, because that attribution is what a supervisor reconciles. worst_days_past_due is the loan’s oldest unresolved lateness, the figure a portfolio report buckets by, and still_overdue says whether the period remains overdue on the date asked about.
Suspension
A suspension is your record that the loan’s clock stands still between two dates — while a store confirms a return, while a dispute is answered. It pauses lateness and its cost, and nothing else: due dates, interest and the schedule stay what they were.
On the worked loan, a suspension from
2026-04-20 to 2026-04-29 takes ten days out of period 1’s count: on 2026-05-10 it reads 24 days past due rather than 34, and its penalty is what those 24 days accrue. Period 2, overdue from 2026-05-05, is untouched. Asked about 2026-04-25, the read answers period 1 with the 13 days and the penalty it had on 2026-04-19, and names the suspension:
Inside the window
late on a date a suspension stands over — a borrower whose clock is stopped is not late that day — while overdue still holds what has fallen due. The book reads the same.
At most one suspension stands on any day, and a window is stated whole. To restart the clock sooner, end it early: the days before the end stay paused. To withdraw it as though it never was, retract it: every paused day counts again. Recording one carries the refusals.
Whether a consumer dispute may pause only the disputed amount, and whether bureau reporting stops inside the window, are regulatory readings the Platform does not make: a suspension pauses the whole loan and reports nothing.
Acceleration
An acceleration is your record that the whole balance was demanded. The conditions are the regime’s, frozen at issuance and readable on every loan:The regime's gate
missed_periods of zero means the jurisdiction sets no such requirement. Recording one early is refused naming both sides:

on, the day of the call, and notice_given_on, the day notice was delivered, both yours, because a notice period nobody can evidence is not a notice period.
Record an acceleration
201 with the accelerated event among its facts and reads active still. What changes is what stands overdue. From the day after the call, every remaining period is overdue, overdue_from: 2026-06-21 on periods that had not matured, and each accrues penalty on its own principal. The late fee is not among what acceleration adds: a period that never missed its own due date earned none.
Two periods, five days after the call
409 already_accelerated; the call is withdrawn by retracting it, and everything it made overdue is derived again as if it had not been made. Like a write-off and a cession, a call must be dated after every fact the loan already carries: one standing on or after on has already moved the schedule, and the call is refused 422 invalid_event naming it.
Write-off
A write-off is your recorded judgement that the debt will not be collected. It is not forgiveness: the debt survives it in full and stays collectable, what stops is the charging. The body is the four act fields and the day. The date must fall after every fact the loan already carries: a rollover or a return standing on or after it has already moved the schedule the write-off would price, so such a write-off is refused422 invalid_event naming the fact and its day. Date it after that fact, or retract the fact.
The loan reads written_off from the write-off, and carries a write_off block pricing the judgement:
The write-off, on every read
cost is what the debt stood at on the day of the judgement, taken apart by charge, the number a castigo is booked at. recovered is what has been collected against it since.
The charging stops on the write-off date, and the debt does not. Asked about any later date, the delinquency read answers the figures as they stood at the write-off: on this loan, penalty of 45711 and worst_days_past_due of 100 on 2026-08-01, both frozen at 2026-07-15, seventeen days earlier.
A recovery settles the arrears first, then cost. Money that arrives is an ordinary receipt. It settles what the matured periods still owe, in the jurisdiction’s order, exactly as on any other loan. What is left over goes against cost and nothing else: no instalment is advanced, no plan is recalculated, and an election on the receipt reaches nothing but that figure, because a loan that charges nothing further has no instalment left to advance into and no schedule left to re-plan. recovered grows by what reached the loan, and what is still owed is cost less recovered. A payment for the whole of it discharges the loan.
Payment options read the same way. The written-off loan’s overdue figure is everything it owes and equals its payoff, and no instalment is named, an instalment there would carry interest the write-off stopped.
