# Read a lookup key

> What a key sells now: the configuration, the version, and that version's values in one read.

What the key names now: `configuration_id` and `configuration_version` — the pair you sell under — and `version`, that version exactly as [reading the version](/api-reference/product-configurations/read-version) answers it, so a form prices from one read.

`latest_version` is the configuration's newest version. Where it is above `configuration_version`, a newer version is written and waits unsold: no key follows it until you [point one](/api-reference/product-lookup-keys/point) there.
